I finally decided to ‘Play Mas’… For many of you who don’t know what that means, we ‘Lucians’ usually refer to it as ‘jumping’ or ‘jumping carnival’…

Carnival was usually a festive event that took place before lent but since many Caribbean islands like St.Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua, St.Kitts, Grenada etc usually have these events it is now scattered around the year to minimize competition, have tourists enjoy the best of everything and off-course to cater to several island hoppers. The Island Carnival has revolutionized (and I somewhat use that word loosely) to 2 piece costumes with an array or artistic beading.

I have never gone to watch the main Carnival event (takes place in the City of Castries) in St.Lucia or taken part in the festivities but this yr (The year I have deemed so eventful) I AM! Consider me UBER excited for this. My friend ultimately convinced me to and I have Chosen my costume! Officially jumping with Red Unlimited. I am really not going to get into the specifics about their costume display but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the one I chose. Although, honestly, I’d love to be in their Platinum VIP section (not in my budget and they catered for previous revellers)

But The section ‘Magique’ simply cuts it for me.

I can sit back, allow my feet to linger and relax on my desk, throw away all the scrap paper I have accumulated over the past weeks and breathe NOW.

I am unofficially done with my Undergrad and I can’t be any more relieved about it. I loved my University life… Lets me just say it was ‘pretttyyyy sweeeeet’ without letting the cat out of the bag (if thats the real phrase). I have had long nights to think about whether I am relieved its over and I have concluded that yes. I do believe i am ready for whats next and although plans are not so solid yet, I do know where i want to be in the next 5 years. Thank God my future is not really cloudy or I’d be in a Midst of Confusion… But this post is just to celebrate my unofficial completion of Undergrad…

And I say Unofficial since my grades have not been released but… I PASSED! I KNOW IT

SO season 2 is over and the secret is out of the bag. We have been literally on edge when we found out who A was. So I always assumed it was MONA since the books lead to A eventually being Mona and Mona dying. Well eventually, Mona does not die but she is revealed to be psycho living in a hyper reality.

I have so many takes on this since you see someone with a red jacket visiting Mona in the mental hospital. Here is my theory;

-In the books Alison is not actually dead… Its Courtney (Alison’s twin sister) who was actually trying to act as Alison but got killed by her actual sister due to some awkward sibling rivalry. SO I believe is the real Alison who visited Mona since she is also supposedly locked up in the mental hospital.

As for the A team. My suspects are going to be Jenna and Lucas, since its evident they’re interacting with the Black swan…

It feels so strange being a Senior. One more Semester to go before the big GRAD event, which I might cry for. My last year has been somewhat of a rollercoaster of events. I talk to way more people than I usually would, made way more friends than I usually would so I do see this one as more of a social semester more than anything. That can be good and bad! But Cheers to a Semester down! One more to go

Pretty much making use of this app on my phone. Had a really cultural thanksgiving since where I am from we don’t do the whole turkey thing. It was pretty good! Thanksgiving lunch turned into the most awesome party!!! Let’s do this …

I got a new phone last night since my old faithful 9700 would no longer charge appropriately and I disliked the sudden death of it every night at 7:30 or the playing around with its port using my flat iron in order for it to charge. And yes, you read right- “using my flat iron in order for it to charge!” … So there, a needed upgrade which did cost a few bucks but I guess that means no shopping and stuff for me till I don’t know when! But that’s ok. I get to use this big ole keypad and never really make a spelling error, not even when I’m drunk- and yes I said it- “Not even when I’m drunk!” …

3 day weekend aka Monday is Thanksgiving- I’ll drink to that…

I dont know if I ever blogged about Big brother before but it has been my summer obsession from BB7. Though I did skip BB10. BB13 is here and That fiery Redhead aka RACHEL is back in the house. Apparently, I love who America Loves to Hate all the time and she is my Pick to win this season… That Vibrant personality always has her in a corner with the other HGs (Houseguests)… Most Disliked for me has to be Porscha who I might refer to as Honda from time to time. She is such the flip flopper. OK maybe its b/c Rach always had her back and she totally Bashed her to Skeletor (Danielle) and Cow (Kalia)…

I want him to be sitting there when suddenly, I cross his mind and he thinks to himself, “Wow. She’s beautiful.”
