The Only Drama In My Life

It rubs me the wrong way when people try to take a jab at something they’re not familiar with. I recently gave an account of what has been going on in my school life. I gave an example of a situation that I thought of as completely unfair to the people around. It was not a personal attack but some people thought it was. In that case, take it however!

I don’t know what the real reason was for the action but the action was not warranted for! I gave info on what happened and I was not lying and everyone who knows about the situation knows that is true. Its left up to the reader to make assumptions and if anyone is upset that what they assumed is something bad then, that is not my problem. I mean, basic logic would not favour the decision that was taken and everyone knows it. So why are people still making futile attempts to justify such act. ITS WRONG and it was unfair to many people!

But, sadly some dimwits see it as a personal jab. No it is not! I expected better from someone who supposedly made it this far to understand, if the government is over-taxing us, We have to speak out. We are being cheated. Why stay quiet? I say, quite frankly some people should count their blessings that this was not taken further! But no, petty lil jabs are the simple things and thank you’s in life being issued. But its ok. I don’t take it personal anyways for I know I was simply doing my duty. Not playing the little Victim but showing what is right and wrong. Time will tell. But right now, let the dirty work go on. Until some people realize how serious (or not so serious) their actions were. THEN! I mean I did realize some things I did were not called for, I apologized for it but if Lil Kim wants to sit there and play High and Mighty – BE MY GUEST… Obviously if the kitten was caught with cookie crumbs on its paws, it has been in the cookie jar… No one would assume it tried to snatch the cookie from the dog who was in the cookie jar… NO SIRE!

I have no wishes to egg on this situation, quite frankly, after my last account of it, It was forgotten but thanks for bringing it to life and making it known that it is a pending issue. I have better things to deal with in life but i simply chose to deal with this to help teach some life lessons. Check yourself before you wreck yourself… Put yourself in the situation of others looking in and not knowing what’s going on if anything is going on and then you have grounds to talk… I have no bad blood towards anyone I just have an opinion towards them. Not my type of person if this has to come down to a post-reaction blogpost.

SO here is my DISCLAIMER- This blog is written by me and does have content that goes on in my life with my opinions..
I know everyone makes mistakes and should not be hanged for it… But, acting like your mistake and the way the situation was handled was the Best way, simply prolongs this whole drama. Other people had forgotten it existed but I guess somehow someone had to make all of us remember it existed.

So let it be known that In this case My opinion just happened to be an ‘OUR OPINION’…

I refuse to dwell on this situation and let those who have a real problem with it should obtain a solution on their own… PLAIN AND SIMPLE… Anyone taking a break from an exam should not go to their room unsupervised so stop trying to justify. It is what it is!
And trying to say the people who are upset that occurred are x y and z = dead wrong and out of line is beyond me… And I have expressed this to the person.

Go right ahead and add fuel to the fire… it would do more harm to the other party- no one else. anyone who has some sense would quit … I really don’t care… I wish well unto everyone!

So there I was, At one of my most crucial points in the Winter Semester. A Junior And a Soon to be Graduate. For me, There was simply no generic way of preparing for finals since I was basically “screwed” over by my exam dates. I had 2 finals on 2 Days so I really had to put my time management skills to the test. My first set of finals i recently got the grades for… PRETTY MASSIVE but as always, there is definitely room for improvement if its not the highest grade one could attain. I have acknowledged that! On the other hand, my challenging courses were later during my exam period. Thus far I am sitting pretty but I simply can’t stop biting my nails. MY AIM=HIGH but not too high because I have learned to set achievable goals. Disappointment does not sit well with me. I Remember crying for a whole month for my first B+ … haha!

SO excited to go home, see my family and be a bum for a few weeks. Hopefully I will be getting that Hospital job I set my eyes on. Could be dirty but BRING IT ON! Personally, I think I’m ready to finally grow up. GIVEN, my birthday is just around the corner…

Here at CollegeCandy, we consider ourselves mature, talented women with a wealth of knowledge and expertise on a wide range of subjects. (What? If we don’t love ourselves, who will?) We’ve grown and learned from our past, so let me ask you a question:

WHY ARE YOU STILL GIVING AND GETTING HICKEYS?

Seriously, this is some high school stuff that I’m talking about. This goes in this list with movie theater make out sessions, the I-have-no-idea-what-I’m-doing-OMG-am-I-hurting-you? hand job and stealing liquor from your parents’ stash. We’ve all moved on to higher education so let’s leave these blemishes (literally) behind.

Besides the cosmetic issue of having a giant purple splotch on your neck that requires industrial strength concealer to conceal, hickeys kinda hurt. And they’re a ton of work to accomplish (necks don’t vigorously suck themselves, people). And apparently they’re really dangerous. And not in the “OMG, my parents are SO gonna see that” kinda way; I’m talking in the ‘THEY CAN PARALYZE YOU‘ fashion. Maybe it’s the whole vampire trend/art imitating real life, or maybe it’s people marking their territory, but either way I don’t care. I’d rather not have someone potentially paralyze me from bruising my arteries.

Is it worth it? For a giant hookup souvenir that requires you to wear a turtleneck/creatively wrapped pashmina for a week?

Uh, no.

For those of you who are fans out there, reconsider if the pleasure is worth the pain of a potential bruised vessel or blood clot. (Things just got heavy.) And if that doesn’t scare you straight, consider what it would be like to explain your hospitalization to the parental units.

“Hi Mom. No, I’m not calling to ask for more money. I’m in the emergency room. Uh. Yeah, so…no. No, it wasn’t a car accident. No, I didn’t fall out of my loft. It’s like, so, uh, things were getting heated with this boy and….”

Yeah, I thought so.
Let’s stop with the hickeys and practice safe sex, shall we?

In The Midst of Mayhem

Everything is back on schedule- Good bye to my “vacation” and hello tons of assignments with ridiculous due dates. I discovered hidden talent in Ke$ha and P!nk is making a Comeback. Lets talk about Justin Bieber… All my friends know I am not fond of any Disney actresses and I think majority of Disney actors my age are still struggling with their sexuality (Zac Efron proved me wrong)… I LOVE VANESSA HUDGENS and lately Ashley Tisdale is beginning to rub me the right way. Always loved Aly and AJ but I wouldnt consider them DISNEY (Someone prove me wrong)…

My point is Little man is now affiliated with “Selenwhore” (oops did i Write that)… Its really just the inner 16 yr old Being upset that the lil tyke is off the market… UGHHHHH

GETTING OVER IT – That means my Valentines DAY won’t be spent at the theatres watching NEVER SAY NEVER in 3D.. Sorry JUSTIN!

I planned a really sappy entry but things apparently did not turn out that way. Currently doing 3 Chem courses this semester. Decided to redo Organic chemistry because I definitely DID NOT like my final Letter grade (worst ever)… Some people have asked why would I choose to put myself through this torture but my response to that was greatness does not come in one go. To me one grade could be so detrimental to that precious G-P-A … I just can’t have it be like this… Here is to hoping I don’t mess up my second chance!

Guess what?
Friday night into Saturday I ended up in the emergency room. I cant account for what happened exactly but i was alive and well and dying of thirst when i got there… Details of that remains that way… but i was a bit disappointed that I had little time to study and I was about to miss the TAX FREE sale at the mall… I probably bothered the nurse alot with ” when am I going to be discharged” …
Well thank GOD I am alive and I did manage to persuade my bestest to accompany me to the mall… I was not about to spend 30 minutes on a line just to pay no tax… SO I got my floor some HAPPY HOLIDAY cards then left… I will be back though when I feel 100% and I guess ready to pay tax for a hassle-free line!

Currently trying to do this thing called “studying” but LAMEBOOK is totally owning my time…

My Library Woes

I hate going to the library but it is something i have to do when everything gets noisy in my room. Usually, when I am at the library I tend to fall asleep for 2 hours and get nothing done. This is probably due to the lack of proper ventilation in the are and well nothing but the ‘vents’ could be heard. Well enough with that I told myself today- You will be going to the library and you will be studying 3 chapters for the least!

At the library, took me quite sometime to find a spot. When I finally found one it was amongst the most obnoxious, low self esteemed girls you could ever dream about. Lets just say I learnt about her endless demeaning weekend excursions and who sneaked out of her bed at 5 am and did not give her his real name and number… Who failed to call and the wildest things imaginable she did whilst being drunk beyond her mind and soul. I am not too happy about learning such but i couldnt help but her… It was like she forced me to sit down and listen to her perky voice screech across the 2nd floor halls. ( I am assuming the 2nd floor is the quiet floor but maybe I am wrong)… low and behold, she also planned on getting smashed the following weekend beyond her mind and soul (like she puts it)…

Following week i still decide to give the library a chance! I think the library is cursed! New signs were put up saying and I quote ” if excessice noise is making it difficult for you to work, please let us know. Visit the circulation desk on the first floor or phone ***-****)” … FAIR ENOUGH- they tried. I did hear from a few friends that the noise level had decreased significantly… BUT WAIT…

I am in the library and right infront of my work station are 2 friends. Apparently, one figured it was funny to pass out the most disgusting GAS known to man every 2 minutes. The friend is just giggling and whispering (out of displeasure)… Where is the joke? I do not find this funny because due to the existence of diffusion, I have to share this blokes gas too… Mr/Ms did not see it fitting to visit a bathroom after 30 minutes?

Might I suggest a detox and a visit to the nearest clinic ASAP
More reasons to see the library as a non-fitting place to study…

Crunch Time: Winter semester 2010

Spring is near or ALMOST NEAR! it snowed yesterday and my Biological techniques Professor really did expect us to go to The Park to count conifers. It rained the whole day and it snowed. I am just sitting at this desk with no sense of direction. I have no clue where to proceed SO HERE I AM- On ameelicious.com trying to find some form of guidance. I have 3 Analytical Chemistry Labs to give up on Tuesday, A Genetics Report for Wednesday and a Biological Techniques Lab Report on Thursday. OH MY GEE.. its just way too many Lab reports…
