Really tiring day. Today was my first day being a Hospital volunteer. I am already soaking in the experience and I do think this is going to make me appreciate so much more in life. Got home and flew those heels on opposite corners of the room then immediately went to my comfy chair… Or MY THRONE (renamed)!!
Somehow my itunes was on shuffle and Ryan Cabrera came on. You guys remember Ryan? NO? He was that guy int he early 2000′s who appeared in Ashley SImpson’s video but more importantly is a talented musician! HE actually can play an instrument (or two). It’s you came on and this (being in this situation) reminded me how much I use to Love this song… SO I have decided to share it with my readers.

[After four years of writing in our undies, we've accumulated a lot of great content on CollegeCandy. I realized this when I was reading the site the other night....also in my undies. So many awesome posts get forgotten, so we decided it was time to bring 'em back. Every Friday we'll be posting some old faves - posts that have made us think, posts that have made us aware and posts that have made us nod our heads in that "we totes get that" sort of way. When it comes to wooing the opposite sex, men have it easy. As far as I know, they approach you and whip out the pick-up line. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t.

Women on the other hand, play a whole different game. Sometimes it seems as if our entire existence is based on impressing a guy. And it’s exhausting. We don’t think about it often (or we argue that we’re doing these things for ourselves as much as for the men), but when you stop and take notice of all the things we do to woo the gentlemen, well, it’s absurd:

1. Padded Bras
Guys have been trained to like a nice set of boobs, and women have been trained to do anything to give them to them. Hell, that must be Victoria’s Secret. But push-up bras are often uncomfortable, expensive and so. effing. hard. to wash without totally ruining them. And yet we wear them. All the time. In fact, you’re probably wearing one right now.

2. High Heels
Although I do enjoy how I feel when I slip on some pumps and strut my shiz at the bar, I don’t enjoy the throbbing blisters that plague me. And they always plague me. But I wear those torture devices every weekend anyway, because while it would be far more comfortable, there’s nothing sexy to the campus boys about a pair of worn-in sweatpants and some flip flops.

3. Waiting to Respond
In a feeble attempt to seem mysterious/extremely busy/cool, girls will often wait to respond to a text or a phone call from a guy. Although realistically, we’re counting down every waking minute as we run through a million response options, asking our friends (again and again) which one would be the wittiest/cutest to send when the time is right. And then asking them when that time actually is so we don’t seem either pathetic or like we’re blowing them off.

4. Eating Salad (Instead of Something Tastier)
I love me a good burger, but I know I think twice before ordering one on a first date with a guy. We want guys to think we are dainty little things who eat like bunnies, not like frat boys, so we sacrifice our own culinary happiness. And only eat half. Then we go home and scarf down a bag of chips in the privacy of our own bedroom while dissecting the entire evening with our girlfriends.

5. Brazilians
Let’s be honest, we aren’t letting someone wax in there for our own benefit.

6. Playing the Jealousy Game
Even though he is the only man for us, we don’t want him to think he’s the only man who can have us. So we go out of our way to flirt with other guys and make sure he see’s it. It’ll make him want us more, right?

7. Pretending to Like His Music/TV Shows/Sports Team
To you, watching professional baseball is like watching paint dry. And you think Dave Matthews is the most over-rated songwriter on earth. And Indian food? You’d rather eat ramen noodles than even try some of that curry stuff. But once Mr. Right walks in, you’re chowing down on Na’an while studying the Yankees line-up with DMB playing in the background just so you can keep up the ruse.

Eminem, in my eyes is like a lyrical genius. Maybe not so lyrical but he is doing the job of soothing me off all the anger I have accumulated during the past week or weeks (whichever way you might want to put it). As you may have heard, Eminem’s new album “Relapse” has been leaked to the internet. Although I have the means to, I’m not gonna post up his whole album. I actually Love this guy so I am not condoning such early Piracy…

I could have sworn today was someone’s birthday But I guess lately I havent been in the correct mindset… Today was actually a pretty good day… Did the usual then Met up with Lewis, my good buddy who I had not seen for a really long time.. What a breath of fresh air because I needed to atleast chill with someone who did not annoy the nerves out of me, who kept on complaining, or who simply insists on hurting that crucial organ on my left side.

SO I needed to clear my head and get unto the right path. Lewis did just that for me… We spoke bout school amongst many other things… I guess it was just catching up.. i mean it was more than a yr and our vacations never coincided like it did this year so that was SUPERB!!! I even got reminded of that S****** Joke… lol OMG.. fun times..
Up to this day I haven’t seen my Cambridge friends.. I call them that now because they are stuck with exams til June and this is when I actually begin work.. So I guess things on that level are really not working out in my favor. That is small matters anyway! But Honestly, I feel I really need to chill right now with someone who really understands me so I could take up 2 hours of their time to complain and have no negative feedback as the aftermath!!
Sometimes we fail to realize some people are not in need of a counselor but rather simply a Listener…
Currently, I am in need of dried cranberries (Os** Take a big hint on that one – HINT HINT) and alot more..
Maybe right now, my life is taking a direction in which I am not pleased of. Luckily, it seems that I can change it up. I am highly dependant on getting some high from season finales which by the way, is so not working.. 90210 was a complete mess… Desperate Housewives was ok but it could have been a bit more dramatic.. I missed Greys Anatomy and am so scared to watch it… Because I know, after this partially broken piece of my heart, Grey’s will completely shatter it.. GOSSIP GIRL brought hope to my life.. Thank God for GG.. Blair and Chuck finally made up after the constant back and forth bickering… *sighs even louder*

Recently, I religiously started listening to this girl called Nicki Minaj… She is not like those generic rap girls in the business.. I absolutely love her flow and she is more of the chic type… Unlike, Name unsaid, Who just strikes me as Damn SLUTTY!!

SO, I recently joined this facebook game, Sorority Life and it is dead addictive. I am trying to tone it down a bit but I want to reach Level 40. SO i started this game about 5 days ago and on the first day I got to Level 12. I was soo impressed with myself, I played it 24/7 but then the game poses some limitations and time constraints where in order to maintain your cash level you MUST at least wait to get paid every hour with your job. If I kept on doing what I was constantly doing, I would have gon broke. SO my Burnlist Bid thingy is set to 235000 which is pretty high compared to people I have seen at my level. I guess now talking about Sorority life I see maybe I am sweating this game to much.. My techie is going to give me the Sims 2 and I simply can’t wait for that one. OMG is that all what I am going to be doing for the summer? Playing reality-type games? Hmmm, For my sake I hope not. I need to work out, probably head to a gym or do some extreme tennis and running…
I will say how that one goes.
So it rained awhile ago and my nephew saw it fitting to run in the rain screaming “rain rain rain”… – he is only 2
And I chickened out … So then I need to go take my normal shower… [haha- Normal shower...!!!]

ANTM tonight so I am looking forward to that one..
